This piece carries four Sanskrit words placed at the edges, each representing a quiet form of care: peace, remembrance, refuge, and compassion. Together, they form a gentle boundary, a reminder that stillness, care, and return are always available.
At the center rests a labradorite, a stone long associated with protection and subtle transformation. Encircled and held, its light is not displayed but kept, suggesting that what is most precious endures through care rather than exposure.
Created as a small offering for a few dear friends, and one new, this work celebrates connections already made and those still unfolding. It is meant as a talisman of continuity, something to return to quietly over time.
