This week’s spotlight is on Richard Devine, a sound design visionary and modular synthesis master known for his hyper-detailed, futuristic compositions. It is the typical image you would have for modular performances: huge walls of modular synths, really complicated patches and sounds you never heard anywhere else.
He is actually quite active in the commercial aspect of modular music as he worked for companies like Google and Apple. A perfect artist if you want to push you perception of what music can be.
