How to Play Brick Breaker
Break the whole wall
Brick Breaker is a paddle-and-ball arcade run about control, angles, and keeping the ball alive.
Launch from the paddle, clear every brick, catch falling power-ups, and protect your lives. Your score grows with brick value and short combo streaks.
Desktop
Use A/D or arrow keys to move. Space launches, pauses, or resumes, and number keys 1-4 activate earned power-ups.
Mobile
Drag across the play field to place the paddle under the ball and keep rallies alive.
Objective
Clear all bricks before your lives reach zero. A clear counts as a win and your highest score drives the leaderboard.
Power-ups
Multi Ball adds another ball, Laser clears a vertical target, Shield saves one final miss, and Slow Ball reduces ball speed for a short window.
Lives
Easy starts with five lives, Normal with four, and Hard with three. Each missed ball costs one life.
Tips
- Hit with paddle edges to open side lanes.
- Stay near the ball shadow-sm instead of chasing late.
- Clear lower bricks first to create safer angles.
Only Normal difficulty with Standard power-up frequency records leaderboard stats and daily streak progress. Visual, audio, haptic, aim guide, high-contrast, and theme settings do not affect eligibility. Rankings prioritize high score, then wins, win ratio, fastest clears, and play time.
