As many of you know, I serve as the Park Ranger at Hockassin Pond. This summer I am going to be running the Kid's Fly Fishing Day program, giving children of all ages the opportunity to learn about our environment and how to fly fish. This program is a great way for kids to spend the day out fishing, but it is also a great way for them to learn more about the environment and discover their own skills.
This year we are asking for help with purchasing more rods, reels, and waders to help expand the program for kids. If you're interested in helping us out with this, please contact me and I'll get you more information.
