At the turn of the millennium, Buffalo Trace Distillery was amid a period of transformation. Staying true to its “Honor Tradition, Embrace Change” mantra, the distillery set aside some of the first whiskeys distilled in the new millennium with the vision to push the boundaries of what is possible in American ultra-aged whiskeys.The result of this bold experimentation is Weller Millennium: a blend of vintage straight bourbon and wheat whiskeys distilled in 2000, 2003, 2005 and 2006 that pays homage to W.L. Weller by highlighting the impact that wheat has on the whiskey’s flavour. Released in June 2024, BlockBar has secured bottles numbered 1, 8 and 88 (bottle number matches lot number). A VIP tasting experience and overnight stay at the Buffalo Trace Distillery, Kentucky for the owner and a guest is included with each lot.
