Winter malaise
dampens the mind.
Sun moves farther,
Longer, darker
Seedlings dream
of forests,
Manifesting their intent.
Springtime emergence
elevates the mind
Sun draws closer,
Brighter, warmer
Seedling push through Earth
to find,
The Universe abides.
