From a long line of peacemakers, I have the calming influence of a strong dose of mycelium, mixed with a medium dose of shmetamine, and can stare down the most dangerous situations with the blink of one eye. I lost my other eye during the giant snow avalanche after the wreck when the fluffle were crossing the Crux, up in the Warren of Ice in the North. While protecting fellow Fluf, trapped beneath the snow with my calming powers, dropping those suffocating flufs pulse rates to nearly zero to enable them to stay trapped for hours with little oxygen, this allowed Snow Crash enough time to burn holes to them all with her fire eyes. However, there were some casualties with burnt ears, some burned out eyes including mine, and some burning off flesh. But the pain and wounds was worth saving them all. The air pockets she created helped those trapped to breath. Mycelium Mystics eyes glow purple from the high levels of mycelium in our DNA, and we feel extremely grounded and connected to the universe and all species. We have extraordinary abilities such as strong telepathy between each other, mild telepathy with those without, the ability to alter the mood of others, and the ability to feel when something is going to happen, before it happens. We are seemingly always plugged in to the mycelium network. Some see it as a blessing, while for those all-knowing, it is a sacred guardianship one must master and respect. Some have been lost from overwhelming voices and emotions circulating their minds. Mycelium Mystics are here to protect Fluf World and guide all of the Amethyst Eyes to ensure the fluffle is always happy.
