'Hit and run' is a special track to me, i wrote after i noticed myself feeling the need to escape every time i got too close to someone. before making the music video, i had one of my favourite movies as a reference called ‘lost in translation’. it had the sort of nighttime moody feel i wanted for this video. i knew i wanted the nature aspect, so we ended up filming the video outside of london, starting in a field the second it got dark. since i wanted the video to feel chaotic, i’m running, biking, and finding ways to escape in the intense coloured flashing lights. as the storyline develops, towards the end, the scenery changes and im standing on top of a hill with a full view of the city, signifying my escape back home. i hope you enjoy the video :)
