I can't remember what I was going to say
about Taiwan,
except that it's a complicated place,
full of history and culture
and contradictions.
It's a place where old and new collide,
where East meets West,
and where people are struggling
to find their identity.
It's a place of great beauty,
and great sadness,
and I can't help but love it,
