it was four years ago today when I (lazy) minted my first 'fine art' NFT "Gentle Flower" on OpenSea wanting to try out this new 'NFT thing' I had recently stumbled into back in 2021.
I had always painted (and knitted, crocheted, baked, decorated cakes with fondant, and much more), but I never thought I'd share what I do with a wider audience. Longer story there, most of you will know it. Well, shortcut to the blockchain, and I wanted to take a plunge - and I had a fantastic ride since then!
Like many artists in 2021, I started out on OpenSea’s shared contract. In early 2022, I switched things up by using Manifold smart contracts for all my Ethereum based mints and doxxing myself, sharing photos etc. - I even re-minted "Gentle Flower" on my first Smart Contract exactly (to the minute!) one year after the first mint. If it ever finds a new home, the collector will receive both versions: the original ERC-1155 from 2021 and the ERC-721 minted in 2022.
Since then, I have used Foundation and LooksRare as my main marketplaces, but it looks their times may be coming to an end, unfortunately. SuperRare and Objkt is where most of my latest works can be found. I am still minting all my acrylic ink and acrylic paint works on Ethereum, and drawings go on Tezos.
I have met so many amazing people in this space, and so much good has happend to me.
I hope you will find -and maybe even unhide- this little token of gratitude for being a part of my journey! Thank you for amazing four years (so far)!
