Move your pieces diagonally across the board, jump opposing pieces, and crown kings when you reach the back row.
Checkers is played on the dark squares of an 8x8 board. Red moves first, pieces move diagonally, and captures are available when a jump is open.
Men move one dark square diagonally forward. Red moves toward row 8, Black moves toward row 1.
Jump diagonally over an adjacent opposing piece into an empty square. If another jump is available, continue.
Reach the back row to crown a king. Kings can move and capture diagonally in both directions.
