Use four free cells to rearrange the tableau and move every card to the foundations. FreeCell rewards planning, open columns, and smart sequence moves.
Classic FreeCell Solitaire layout.
Move cards into temporary free cells to unlock sequences.
TL;DR – FreeCell is a classic solitaire variant where every card is dealt face up. The goal is to move all cards to the four foundation piles by suit, from Ace to King.
Here’s how the game works:
Setup:Eight tableau columns are dealt face up. Four free cells and four foundation piles start empty.
Free Cells:Each free cell can hold one card. Use them to temporarily park cards while you uncover better moves.
Tableau Moves:Build columns in descending order with alternating colors. Any card or ordered sequence can move to another column if there is enough open space in free cells and empty columns.
Foundations:Move cards to foundations in ascending order by suit, starting with Aces.
Winning the Game:Once all cards are moved to the foundation piles, you win.
Tip: Try to keep at least one free cell open so you can break and rebuild sequences when the board gets tight.
