How to Play Paddle Duel

Control the neon rally

Paddle Duel is a first-to-seven arcade match with collectible power-ups.

Move your paddle vertically, collect pickups with the ball, and time stored power-ups before the CPU takes control of the rally.

Desktop

Use W/S or arrow keys to move. Space serves, pauses, or resumes. Number keys trigger stored power-ups when charged.

Touch

Drag the play field to reposition your paddle and tap stored power-up buttons from the dashboard.

Rules and Scoring

Move only your left paddle. The CPU controls the right paddle.

Score one point whenever the ball passes the CPU paddle.

The first side to seven points wins the match.

Random pickup tokens can appear after paddle hits during rallies.

Shield pickups arm immediately; other pickups are stored.

Only Normal mode updates wins, losses, best margin, and streak.

Objective

Beat the CPU to seven points. Normal wins update your record, streak, and best winning margin.

win

Ranked Mode

Normal mode is the ranked default. Easy and Hard are practice modes so you can adjust pace without changing leaderboard stats.

Speed Boost

Temporarily increases your paddle speed.

Curve Shot

Arms your next return with extra vertical spin.

Shield

Auto-arms on pickup and rebounds one missed ball.

Slow Ball

Slows ball movement for a short window.

Winning Tips

Meet the ball early so you can aim with paddle position.
Use Curve Shot near paddle edges to force wider CPU chases.
Let Shield cover risky rallies once it is armed.
Collect pickups only when the ball path stays recoverable.
