Magine is a celebration of nature, colors, and movement. It represents a deep longing to be in nature and to be able to move freely.
This longing is expressed through a vast set of colors and patterns that interact in surprising ways, creating entirely new colors and species of fluttering creatures, beyond our control. Like a kid looking up into the sky, or the bedroom ceiling finding familiar figures and patterns in a blend of reality and imagination.
The underlying structure and darkness permeate the layers above, etching their history into the creatures they help create. Without this darkness, the colors would not shine as bright.
With more than 60 different species, represented by color, there is a high probability that not all species will make it. This is an expression of the loss of biodiversity with an estimated 200-1000 species going extinct each year.
Balancing between light and darkness, Magine is about changing perspective and finding possibilities and joy in a place bound by restrictions.
Between human imagination and the machine, Magine is an echo of nature.
Magine is made by a duo. My partner wants to stay anon.
