beatShapez is my first code generated audio/visual project. The txn hash randomizes the selection of musical stemss (elements) from 5 different categories: Lead, Kick + Bass, Percussion, Pad, and Accent. The color of the moving shapez and the direction of rotation is also randomized by the token hash.
The shape rotation and size animation is also driven by a dummy stem which is linked to the kick + bass category that is selected.
This project was a joint effort between myself and ChatGPT. I have been studying Javascript for the past 6 months, but the ideas I wanted to use in this project were far beyond my scope of understanding and skill within the language. It took a lot of back and forth and troubleshooting, but ChatGPT opened up a completely new realm of possibilities I never thought I’d be able to play with at this level.
