‘Cortez’ has been a staple and a bit of an ever-growing sleeper in my DJ sets for a few months. Made in the heaps of summer it captures a euphoric and hypnotic mix of beat and melody. I wanted a roller to bridge my melodic set sections into more uptempo energy, and ‘Cortez’ does just that.
