i wrote this song a few years ago feeling like i was just half-heartedly floating in & out of relationships & nothing was ever as visceral as i knew it should be. i’m happy to say i’ve found someone to love since then, but a lot of what this project is about is going back to these small defeated moments where it felt like time was flying by & nothing was ever going to change the way i wanted it to. i hope u love this song as much as i do
