Punk Shinobi was once a member of the Meiyo Clan but his jealousy toward the Arashi Twins ultimately led to betrayal. Secretly following Kami and Kai to New Miami City, he is transformed by The Phenomenon and overcome by shadows. He develops a state called Haze which garners shadow manipulation, giving him the ability to formlessly move through the darkness.
Now a contracted bounty hunter for The Architect, Punk Shinobi operates as a rogue nomad assassin, driven by his twisted desire and a shared interest to annihilate the Arashi Twins.
