The 4th single “Good People?” is out now on Sound(officially 19 April) and is a real shoegaze meets punk rock anthem driven forward by the band’s ferocious snarling call for people to “think for themselves in these times of “bubble-opinion building”.
The songs move effortlessly from swaggering "wall of sound"-esque shoegaze anthems to reflective and fragile ballads, while playing with a lyrical universe that takes obvious inspiration from the Pop Art movement, with its love for hiding deeper meaning behind deceptively simple, recognizable, ironic and almost mass-produced hook lines.
The single concludes a successful 2024 pre-album-release PR cycle that has seen the band land Spanish management, Polish label partners, public love from football icon Markus Babbel and a first major editorial Spotify playlist placement with "The Hurricane" on "All New Rock".
DEAD STAR TALK will moreover play 10 release shows in major cities such as Madrid, Warsaw and Copenhagen and festivals such as Talavera Spring Festival around the album release in May-June 2024.
