Coming off of my 2023 project, Acrobat, I want to reintroduce myself not just as a producer or singer, but as a person. Chicken Soup is about perspective, specifically the perspective of a partner, and how someone’s positivity and un-jaded-ness can reveal a new world beneath the surface of what you’ve come to expect from day to day life. It’s called chicken soup because it’s healing. It’s home. It’s the unofficial medicine of the world, and in that same regard, love and levity from those dearest to us have all those same ingredients.
