I decided to go on a chasecation, which is a vacation where you storm chase, on May 19, 2024. Having no one else available to go, I grabbed my mom (her first chase), and we headed out from Texas to Woodward, OK. A small storm popped up, and as we raced to get to it, it continued to grow. It went on to produce several tornadoes, including a mile wide one. This is about an hour before it produced the first tornado. Taken near Crawford, OK.
