The snow crunched softly beneath my boots as I stepped onto the rooftop. The city stretched out before me, a sea of rooftops blanketed in white, reflecting the fading glow of the sun. I pulled my coat tighter, my breath forming ghostly wisps in the crisp evening air.
Nature had decided to put on a show. The sky, once a dull gray, now blazed with streaks of crimson, gold, and deep violet, as if the heavens themselves had been set aflame.
