During the Peloponnesian War, the city of Melos is razed and its people enslaved by the great and wise city of Athens, applying the law of the strongest between unequal forces. Here, Athena, the conqueror, brings her peace and her justice while subjecting the defeated people. She takes her tribute from them in the form of a stream. Red for the blood of the people, black for the hydrocarbons, blue for the cobalt and yellow obviously for its gold.
