Rumored to reside in the desolate Carpathian Mountians, Sălbatic is the guardian of local Romanian wildlife. Known to shift forms between different animals, he is believed to appear most commonly in a human form with massive elk-like horns protruding from his head.
People all throughout rural Romania pray to Sălbatic for the health and wellbeing of their livestock, and some pray for a closer connection to other beings - whether that be horses, chickens, or other humans.
