Austeja is the Baltic goddess of bees and beekeepers, and encourages tolerance and respect.
When you look at religions, notice the similarities between them - not just the differences.
Everything changes over time - even religions!
All nature is alive and sacred, and has more to it than people usually notice. Trees are particularly important symbols (perhaps like the importance of a "cross" for Christians) symbolising the underground (with the roots), the earth, and the sky. At their top you can sense some of the energy of the deities.
Her temple Romowe is a sanctuary. A place of worship and of inner peace: calm, quiet, serene. It may be a large, special, maybe old tree, that Austeja and other important gods live in, with a flame always burning on an altar (an "aukurus") in front of it. It might be on a small hill. The trees around it form a holy grove of peace. An "Alka".
You can find your own Alka in woods wherever you are. Just go in to the woods and find a special tree - you will know when you have found it.
