Embroidery is an ancient craft that the Ukrainian people have worshiped and improved for millennia. Embroidered shirts have always been considered the most powerful amulet from all evil.
Most women were doing embroidery at night because there was too much housework during the day. Reassured by the silence and peace, women lit candles, sat by the window, and began their magic.
This work is created as a combination of real embroidery made by me and my illustration.
