So there's this guy named David Kahn Feurzeig who is a composition professor at the University of Vermont. He's doing a thing called "Every Town Vermont" where he plays a show in every single town in Vermont. In each town, he tailors the performance in someway, for instance, playing a piece from the year the town was founded. Well, for my tiny hometown of Westford, he composed a song in my honor! I guess he searched Wikipedia, and I came up as a "notable person" from there. Anyway, I watched a video of him performing his delightful homage (he wrote the song in a day), and it made me miss Vermont and Westford so much that I decided to write this song in response.
