rory could see in every hue,
a glimpse of a demon in her view.
the pale blue cloud followed to the sea,
with dread her face white as the lily.
rich verdant flowers and strong sweet blood
shooting in the mississippi's flood.
vexed with sure penitence for her sight,
beside her were angels in the night.
she wrapped them in a violet lining.
should she not see her own stars shining?
stolen from dreams in the vast lagoon
black as the night with a phantom moon.
1/1 8192x8192 (8k) original digital work created with midjourney
this collection includes some of my earliest experiments with midjourney, mimicking the effect of splattering acrylic paints and glossy resin pours. creating these pieces taught me a great deal about synthesizing the texture and tangibility of traditional art materials, while working with them in ways that would be impossible outside of AI. they reflect the youthful playfulness i felt while exploring this new medium, the exhilaration of experimenting with art the way i did when i was a child, unbound by the rules that would someday govern my professional career as an artist. all of these pieces are unretouched, the raw output of my AI experiments, because each of them were delightful to me exactly as they appeared.
