Beyond the moment we parted, we are walking at the foot of a mountain, in the footsteps of a rock that rolled 30 years ago. We wish to be beyond the time that dyes our hands, insides of our ears, and strands of hair white. We missed every opportunity we got to hide our wishes under the wings of a bird and set him free. Then we missed the wagons of the trains we ran, and the stones that we stumbled upon and then instinctively turn to. The shape, color, texture of those stones could tell us something about these days. Perhaps, thanks to them, our bodies could unite rather than separate, and we could transform into stronger beings, gigantic creatures even though we might look frightening.
