Among all developed countries, nothing else is more like visiting a different universe than Japan. Their culture is unique in almost every aspect, from the social to the visual, and still somehow compatible with our globalized world. I can definitely say this is my favorite country to visit. Living here is a different story: the very same culture that makes Japan so cool for guests, puts restrictions, enormous pressure, and the feeling of competition on people who live in this society. On the other hand, maybe this is what makes a nation so productive? Because not just Hiroshima certainly doesn't look like a city that was nuked several decades ago, the whole country went through an impressive scale of transformations during this time.
