I took this photo in the first 5 minutes of visiting Miami for Basel Miami 2022, which was the first Basel I had been to in 6 years. I was part of Basel Miami nearly every year starting in 2006 with the video collective [PAM] the Perpetual Art Machine, we would showcase videos on projections on the beach and on trucks that drove around the city. This was also the first lage event I did since the quarantine and seeing old friends and inspiring art was incredible. Floating in the ocean was the hilight to every morning I was there.
