On display permanently at the Museo Chiapas de Ciencia y TecnologÃa (MUCH), Who’s Brave New World opens a conversation around what it means to innovate in the name of the environment, how that affects both humanity and the natural ecosystem, and how much of that innovation can be considered ‘natural’ in an age where technology both hurts and helps.
Showcasing a changing landscape and the connection between what is traditionally considered to be the natural world and humanity, we see a ladder connect the two, whilst each environment is ‘morphed’ and ‘improved’ through influence of the other.Â
From quantum computers to manipulated landscapes, animals and birds reflected as social media platforms and the iconic architectural bars of the Museo Chiapas de Ciencia y TecnologÃa perforating through the work, Brave New World invites us to consider what the future brings from a new era of Biodiversity.
