Bear Markie was on the cusp of irrelevance for quite some time. He hadn't had a hit since the '80s and his star was fading. Until one day....Whoomp! (There it is), hit his eardrum. The Atlanta duo of Tag Team had dropped a piece of Jock Jam art and Bear Markie wanted in. Most don't know that Tag Team was a trio for their follow-up track....Hoop! (There's the rim). With hopes that the NBA would pick up the track, Tag Team soon realized the party was over. Or was it?
