Goldie was an extraordinary bear. He was born in the forests of Canada and was one of the few bears with golden fur. This color gave him his name and made him a unique creature in the wilderness. Goldie was big and strong, but at the same time, he was kind and friendly to people. Goldie spent his days walking through the forests and looking for food. He liked sweet fruits and honey, but he could also eat meat if he found a wounded animal. Goldie was not an aggressive bear, but he was capable of defending himself if he felt threatened. Most of the time, however, he was rather shy and tried to avoid contact with people. One day, Goldie decided to cross a river to get to the other side of the forest, where there was more fruit. But the river was very high and steep at that time. Goldie tried to find a safe way to cross it. Eventually, he decided to swim across. It was dangerous, and Goldie knew it, but he had no choice. He had to get to the other side to find food. When he reached the other bank, he was tired and wet, but he was glad he made it. Goldie continued on his way and eventually found a large group of raspberries. He started picking and eating them right away. When he had eaten his fill, he lay down on the grass and fell asleep. When he woke up, it was almost dark. Goldie decided to stay in place and sleep all night. When he woke up in the morning, he found that someone had visited him. Next to him lay a little girl who was playing with his golden fur. Goldie was scared at first, but when he saw that the girl was not a threat, he calmed down and let her play. The little girl's name was Emily, and she was lost in the forest. Goldie let her stay with him and protected her from danger until he got her back to safety. Since then, they became friends, and Goldie had another reason to protect the forest and its inhabitants.
