Boomer the Bear was born into a family of dancers. His parents were both professional ballet dancers and his grandparents danced for the Royal Shakespeare Company. As a child, Boomer loved to dance and he would often put on impromptu performances for his family and friends. When he was ten years old, Boomer's parents retired from professional dancing and moved to a small cabin in the woods. Although he missed dancing, Boomer soon found other things to occupy his time. He explored the woods around his home, went fishing with his grandfather, and helped his grandmother cook. By the time he was a teenager, Boomer had become an expert outdoorsman. He knew which plants were edible, how to build a shelter in case of bad weather, and how to track animals. When he was eighteen years old, Boomer left home to strike out on his own. He wanted to see more of the world than just the woods around his cabin. He traveled for several years, living off the land and doing odd jobs here and there to earn money. Finally, when he was in his early twenties, Boomer settled down in a small town in Wyoming. There he met a woman named Sarah and they got married soon after. Together they had three children: two sons and a daughter. As he grew olderBo omer became known as The Wise Bear because of all the knowledge he had acquired duringhis travels . People would come from miles aroundto ask him questions about plant s , anim als , or anything else they wantedto know . And no matter what question they asked , Boat th e Wise Bearex always had an ans wer . "Knowledge is power,"he would tell them ."The more you k now , than Dumbo ice bear cubthe m ore you can do."
