Pill Tones is an experiment in hexadecimal as generative music as interactive NFT. Each instance of Pill Tones is unique to its owner. The selection of Pills, the projection of sound space onto screen, the pitch grid, melodies, rhythms and dynamics come directly from your Ethereum hex address.

Ghost Pill (violet / magenta): volume fluctuations from hex address. pitch and tempo from position.
Riff Pill (yellow): pitches and durations from hex address. screen quadrant changes riff.

Pill Tones is an ERC1155 token minted on the Ethereum blockchain under the BeyondNFT smart contract for interactive NFTs. A total of 1000 copies of Pill Tones were created. Pill Tones was built with vanilla JavaScript + SVG + CSS (no third-party libraries; no external assets). The source code is stored immutably on the InterPlanetary File System.
