Encounter is a very special piece of mine.
I’ve been doing pixel art since 2018 on and off due to me studying a non-art related course. I treat pixel art as my source of comfort. I had to take a break from art for one year period long which is last year as I had to finish my studies as well as undergo an internship. I began to draw again during June and Encounter is the first personal piece I managed to complete for this year. It’s my favorite one too.
About this piece… I have always belonged to the night as it is the only time I feel at ease. At the end of a tiring day, gazing at the starry sky sure has made it easier for me to heave a sigh of relief before starting another 'tomorrow'.
It is inspired by one of my favorite songs, Don McLean's Vincent.
