My mind was transformed in a chicken coup while photographing a variety of birds. I silently sat among them for hours watching them interact with one another. I studied their behaviors while waiting for the perfect shot to capture their individually unique faces. It was then that the flood gates opened into a sea of creativity that led me to this elegantly quilted bed of feathers. We so often forget to just stop and breathe in this world of instant gratification. What else are we missing on a daily basis by not taking the time to see what’s right in front of us?   Something else hides within this layered bed of feathers.   Can you relax your mind enough to see it? Your clue is that it is a spiritual symbol of the regeneration of life.
