The Monkey-eating Eagle, or the Philippine Eagle is one of the largest and most powerful birds in the world.
Endemic to the Philippines, it is the National Bird of the country. It is also one of the rarest, since there are only about 400 pairs of Philippine eagles left in the wild.
Kabayan was the first captive-bred Philippine eagle to be released in the wild.
Cause:
* Half of the proceeds of this sale will be used to adopt animals at the Philippine Eagle Center. Winning bidder gets to choose which animals to adopt / support.
