This piece from my archives is one of the very first instance of me using this technique of mixing generative grid compositions and individually hand animated dots. Since this first iteration over 10 years ago, it has become a signature element in my motion language. This short animation test ended up being a breakthrough for me and ultimately led me to work with some of the most amazing creative teams in the Film and Design industry, from FITC Tokyo 2015 to Blade Runner 2049.
