Gazing at stars and identifying the constellations is my favorite past time with my grandmother while resting on the terrace of our house. She used to tell me stories about how back in old days, when celestial navigation was a thing, Polaris used to be the key to determine the cardinal directions. Years later after I moved to states and started camping and hiking in new England area the Astrophile in me woke up. Hence, I wanted to not only star gaze but also capture its beauty to share it with my grandmother and show how much I missed listening to her stories. After spending 2 hours capturing 160 images in 16 mph windy weather on the highest point in Massachusetts during September, I have stacked and processed those images, to achieve this final Star Trails Image with Polaris in frame.
