A huge iceberg drifting at sea, off the coast of Greenland. Observing these giants icebergs sail off to other continents is something I had hoped to see for many years now and I am so glad I got this crossed off my bucket list. Sad at the same time that those ephemeral sculptures are the results of our glaciers melting faster than ever.
To capture this image I used a drone, launched from a moving boat during a very long midnight summer sunset. Learning to take off and land from a boat was also a nice extra skill to master.
