"Chaotic erosion covers the landscape for as far as the eye can see. The sense of chaos fades as the vast topography gets showered in gold and pink light. The jagged rock formations now feel welcoming, as their natural colors are exaggerated into pinks and purples throughout. Harmony is brought through as "A Glorious Glow" creates a scene like no other."
The Zion Canyon Overlook Trail is often over shadowed by its bigger version, Angels Landing. But do not be fooled, this trail leads to one of the most popular overlooks for photographers and regular tourists alike. I wanted to get a unique composition as this spot has been shot many times. The leading lines of the sharp rocks that can be seen in the foreground immediately caught my eye. I wanted to get the details of these rocks, and I did. And to top the whole thing off I got an explosion of pinks that tie this whole photograph together very nicely. Around 4 hours of work went into post processing this image, and it came out amazing.
