I took this picture in the central Apennines, a mountain range that spans all over the Italian peninsula, from North to South.
After many years where I almost lost hope, due to the ever rising temperatures of the fall seasons, I finally managed to capture an early snowfall in a beech forest, while the leaves were still at the peak of the autumn foliage. A fantastic visual combination where my two favorite seasons meet.
