Winter approaches
I've created over a 1000 images since I started rendering in the mid-90s and many of them are very popular. A handful however, fall into the "iconic" category including "Fluorescence", "Portals", and "Highland Spring" among a few others.
"Haiku" is among my most important renders and has come to be a mainstay of my gallery. People come back to it time and again not only because it makes a great wallpaper but because it tells an elegant story, at-a-glance, of Autumn's arrival.
This 2007 version is a Vue d'Esprit remake of the first "Haiku" that I initially created in 2000 and became a big hit. I lost most of the digital source files I made that year to a hard drive failure so folks were thrilled when I remade this one for modern resolutions.
It's the first of my major renders to be minted on Foundation and will set the stage for the rest to come, minted on 9/22/2021 to celebrate the Autumn equinox 🍁
