EARTH #2 - Titans of Time
Earth, although strongest of the four elements, is not invincible. In the face of time, all things fall. Empires rise and crumble, species are born and die off, and even mountains drift into the unstoppable wheel of infinity.
I created this piece in 2018 in the heart of China; the Zhangjiajie region of Hunan. During this time I was travelling through the country shooting several provinces for my own portfolio as well as some work for a client out of Hong Kong. Being a student of History and Political Science, travelling through the world’s oldest living civilization in person was a journey I had dreamed of most of my life. One of the hundreds of geographical marvels of China, the Zhangjiajie spires are a stunning reminder that time defeats all: Emperors, Dynasties, and even Earth itself.
