"Native Antispace" is a series of film photographs shot on medium format film encapsulating frozen fragments in time. These fragments of spaces hold a sentimental value and symbolize the feelings, emotions, and thoughts which at a later stage shaped me into the artist I am today.

The locations and objects which were frozen in time by my film camera will forever represent nostalgia, a safe feeling of being at home, and evoke strong emotions...
The power station in the distance is located on the river in my hometown in Northern Kazakhstan. In winter people gather next to it to fish. In spring due to high quantities of snow the river floods the surroundings.
