In the black midnight of the new moon, the twins now found themselves abandoned and terrified on the clifftop ruins of Albridge. A place everyone knew to avoid. They dare not leave this clearing, however, for the creatures of the forest predated at night. They were trapped. It was in this place they first laid eyes on an omnimorph. It seemed to emerge from nothing and watched them from a distance, its gaze requesting their presence. Timidly they moved closer to it.
