The sage grew old now, and his life had been rich with adventure and accomplishment. He had spent his time nourishing the land he walked upon, and so much of it had recovered. But he felt as though his job was incomplete, there was so much left undone, and what of other lands beyond the sea? He longed to stay here and worried what would happen when he left. It was then, alone in his hut, that he heard the whisper. A gentle breeze rolled through the window and beckoned him to the forest.
