_the action of ending a connection
Severance is a continuation of a choreographic piece I created back in 2019. Severance symbolises the act of ones body severing ties from ones world & ones soul. In essence an exploration of the deepest experiences of mental illness; specifically my personal involvement with dissociation~anxiety~depression~suicide~abuse~and depersonalization. The events leading up to the inception of this piece were vile, grueling & horrific.
